Designer | Calligrapher | Illustrator | font addict
Gilded Paper® was founded by Barbara Gregory, a designer, calligrapher, and artist with a background in web, graphic, and user experience design.
Back then, I was working as a Web, Graphic, and User Experience Designer at a wonderful tech company. I truly loved my job and the amazing team I worked with. But I also knew I wanted more time at home to raise my daughter and to be present for my aging parents as they faced health challenges.
What began as a creative outlet gradually evolved into something more.
In my previous work, I focused on how people interact with design, how something feels, functions, and flows. That same perspective now shapes every piece I create.
From the layout of a wedding suite to the way a guest book is structured and used, each detail is considered not only for how it looks, but how it is experienced.
Gilded Paper® brings together digital design expertise and traditional craftsmanship, resulting in paper goods that feel cohesive, intuitive, and thoughtfully refined from start to finish.
